Hamburger Buns

I have tried many lettuce wrapped burgers throughout my Keto journey, and some were absolutely amazing.

I was still missing that bun texture and how it absorbed the juices of the burger.

I had to adapt my recipe for buns slightly different from the bread loaves, because I needed the crust to be less chewy and more pleasant to the bite.

With gentler techniques used to form the dough balls, and trapping more air inside, I was able to make these using less gluten than the bread loaves and make them lighter.

I can now enjoy burgers and chicken sandwiches far more than i used to with these buns.
